City of Vacaville Introduces Ride Pingo for On-demand Transit

VACAVILLE, Calif. – The City of Vacaville public transportation service, City Coach, announced today a significant enhancement to its on-demand services, City Coach Direct and Special Services. In partnership with The Routing Company, beginning October 23, 2024, City Coach will begin offering riders the convenience of requesting rides via the innovative Ride Pingo app.

This new feature aims to make transit more accessible, efficient, and user-friendly for all passengers. Integrating with the Ride Pingo app, riders will be able to easily book their own on-demand rides directly from their smartphones. This modern approach eliminates the need to call in, providing a seamless and efficient way for passengers to plan their trips. The app is designed with a user-friendly interface, ensuring that riders of all ages and tech-savviness can navigate it with ease.

Key benefits of the Ride Pingo app integration include:

Convenience: Riders can request a ride anytime within service hours, anywhere within the City of Vacaville, without the need to make a phone call. The app streamlines the booking process, saving time and effort.
