New Cryogenic Gas Processing Plant to be built Near Williston
News Release - Outrigger Energy II LLC announced Tuesday that it has entered into a long-term definitive gas gathering and processing agreement with XTO Energy, Inc. ("XTO") to service XTO's production in Williams County, ND. The gathering system will comprise a 70-mile, 20- and 24-inch diameter, rich gas pipeline originating in eastern Williams County and terminating at a new 250 MMcfd cryogenic gas processing plant located west of Williston, ND.  Read More Williston Herald: XTO, Outrigger Gas Plant Update
New Gas Plant to help ease Flaring

Bismarck Tribune - A natural gas plant proposed west of Williston could help reduce flaring in the Bakken oil patch. Denver-based Outrigger Energy II plans to build the facility. CEO Dave Keanini said crude oil prices surpassing $50 per barrel have been high enough lately to spur more oil drilling in the Bakken, and that's made the area attractive to his company. "We like being in basins where there's a lot of activity and a lot of growth going on," he said. Read More

North Dakota 3Q Taxable Sales and Purchases up Four Percent
 "With fluctuating  commodity prices, it is significant that the state has been able to post solid taxable sales and purchases growth each quarter for more than two years,"
Rauschenberger said.

News Release -  Tax Commissioner Ryan Rauschenberger announced today that North Dakota's taxable sales and purchases for the third quarter of 2019 are up 4% compared to 2018. New High School opens in Parshall
The old high school building is located next to the new high school; students and faculty began the moving process just before the Christmas break.
KUMV-TV - Parshall High School students are back in school after the holidays, but instead of hearing a bell in between classes, they're hearing drills. The finishing touches are being put on their new school. Read More

Watford City Survey: Housing, Childcare Main Issues
McKenzie County Farmer - The biggest challenges that Watford City faces when it comes to growth and development in the future are housing and childcare according to a recent survey of people living in and around the community.
