Resident Survey Closes September 15th

The City of Wood River is asking residents to please take a few minutes and take the Resident Survey.
This survey will help the Planning Commission with the Comprehensive Plan. The plan is a 10-20 year plan for the City's future.

Congratultions to Engineer/Paramedic Mike Carlisle. We are extremely grateful and appreciative for Mike’s commitment and dedication all these years with the city of Wood River, and wish him the best in his next chapter!


Reminder to Residents:

Leaves may begin falling in September but burning is prohibited until

October 1st.

Burning must take place on Wednesday & Saturday, during daylight hours, only during a calm weather period with winds of less than 10 miles per hour. All burning must be supervised and a water hose must be available to extinguish a fire, if necessary. No leaf burning shall be allowed on any public street or alley.


City Council Meetings

The City Council Meetings are on the 1st and 3rd Monday every month.
