A wrap-up of April 3's City Council meeting is now available
By a vote of 3-2, the City Council voted to pass the diversity and inclusion resolution, which welcomes both native born and immigrants to the City of San Gabriel.

Catch the last Silent Sundays screening of the season
Season three of Silent Sundays at the Mission Playhouse concludes with "The Cameraman," starring comic legend Buster Keaton this Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. Critic Leonard Maltin calls "The Cameraman" an entertaining silent comedy "brimming with invention, ingenious set pieces, and big laughs."

Catch Buster Keaton's first film with MGM with two-time American Theatre Organ Society's Organist of the Year Walt Strony.
Have unused prescription drugs?
Safely dispose them at our Drug Take-Back Day on April 28
The San Gabriel Police Department is holding a prescription drug take-back day on April 28 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the station located at 625 South Del Mar Avenue. Residents are encouraged to bring expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs for proper disposal. Sharps will not be accepted.

The service is free and anonymous - no questions asked.
Korean fried chicken comes to San Gabriel
Bonchon Chicken opens on West Las Tunas Drive
Korean fried chicken lovers rejoice: Bonchon Chicken has come to San Gabriel.

As its name suggests, Bonchon offers several Korean dishes with a focus on fried chicken. Restaurant-goers can select fried chicken with three choices of sauce, including spicy, soy garlic or half spicy and half soy garlic. Other Korean dishes are also available.
