Good evening,
It's a hot week in San Gabriel, so be sure to drink plenty of water as we experience higher-than-normal temperatures. Visit the city's cooling centers if you need to stay cool, and remember to keep an eye out on kids and the elderly.

Heat aside, be sure to attend this year's Fall Fun Festival on October 27 in the Mission District! This year's event will occur from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and will feature trunk-or-treating, costume contests, free food and more! The Playhouse will also be hosting Halloween flicks during the event as well.

As always, please share this issue with your friends and family, and follow the city's social media accounts on Facebook , Twitter , Instagram , YouTube , WeChat and Weibo to keep up-to-date on community news and events.

Now, here's what's making news for the week of October 25, 2017.
