Petition to Graduate
If you plan to complete your degree or certificate at the end of this semester (Fall 2020), make sure to complete the graduation petition by the October 2 deadline. Don’t wait if you need to see a counselor before filing your petition, make your counseling appointment today!
New Petitions Available on eServices!
The Online Student Petitions Project is one of many initiatives designed to make it easier for you to find, complete and get important forms approved. The following petitions can now be found in eServices:

  • Change of Major

The Library Online
Even though the physical doors are closed, the Library is still available to support you with a wide variety of resources and services including:

The library has an excellent (and growing) collection of electronic content to complement your class discussions and research material to help with your course assignments. Some of the more popular resources include:

  • Gale Ebooks - A great resource for gathering background information on a topic
  • The EBSCO Ebook collection - Find Ebooks on social sciences, information technology, the humanities, business, economics, and more

National Suicide Prevention Month
September is National Suicide Prevention Month - a time to share information about the resources available to the entire campus community:
  • Crisis Text Line: 24/7 mental health support. Text "COURAGE" to 741741
  • The 24/7 National Suicide Prevvention Hotline. Call 1-800-273-8255
  • Campus Well: Our student health magazine covering current health topics including the self-care guide. 
  • Mindwise: A self-screening mental health tool with self-care resources 
  • California Peer-Run Warm Line
Transfer Week is 9/21-9/24
The Transfer and Career Centers will be hosting 4-year colleges and universities September 21 - 24 from 9 AM to 4 PM each day. If your goal is to transfer or if you are considering a transfer, don’t miss this opportunity to hear directly from university representatives and have a chance to get your questions answered.

Constitution Day
Constitution Day is commemorated each year on September 17, the date on which the founding fathers signed the document in 1787. You can learn more about the founders, formation of the constitution and read the text online at the National Archives website
