Undocumented Student Weeks of Action
Serving the largest number of undocumented students in the state, California Community Colleges are committed to serving all students, regardless of immigration status.mIn its fourth year, Undocumented Student Weeks of Action, starting Monday, Oct. 19, is a system-wide campaign to advocate and provide support resources for our undocumented student population. The Los Rios Colleges will host a series of events open to undocumented students, students of mixed status, and allies. We also created a Zoom background you can download and use to show your support!
You Can Now Self-Select Pronoun Preferences in eServices
As part of our ongoing commitment to equity and creating an inclusive environment for all, starting Oct. 12, all students will be able to self-select gender pronouns in eServices. You will be able to select from these choices: he/him/his, she/her/hers, they/them/theirs, name only, or none selected (“none selected” is the default setting for all current and new students).

If you change your pronoun, the change will be reflected in Canvas as well as on instructor rosters.

Step by step directions:
  • Log into eServices
  • Click on the Profile tab
  • Select Personal Details
  • Select the biographic tab and choose the preferred option

Note: The first time you select or change your pronouns in eServices, those changes will be captured in Canvas (unless the change was made in Canvas first). Subsequent changes will need to be made in both eServices and Canvas.
