  • Once you’re logged in, take a deep breath, relax, and focus
  • Don’t leave the test page – you may lose your work
  • Plan your allotted time – keep your eye on the clock (set an alarm)
  • Give yourself time to check your work and don’t forget to click submit

Good luck!
Spring Enrollment
The Spring 2021 semester starts Jan. 16 and Priority 1 enrollment is already underway! Check your enrollment appointment in eServices Message Center and make sure you are ready to select and enroll in your classes at your appointment time. Pay your fees by the appropriate deadlines (see below). Pro tip: You can add all your classes to your cart in eServices prior to your enrollment appointment.

Important information that can help your through the enrollment process:
Spring 2021 UTP Sticker
The Universal Transit Pass (UTP) fee for spring 2021 will be 50% off the normal UTP price and is a required fee for enrollment in classes. Though students may not need to come to campus for classes, many of our students still rely on Sacramento Regional Transit (SacRT) for non-educational transportation needs. By continuing the service for students at a significant discount, we hope to balance the needs of all students.

Students who have paid their UTP fee will be given a link to the UTP online request form. After you submit the form, your eligibility will be confirmed and the new UTP will be mailed to your mailing address on file in eServices.
CalFresh Food Assistance for Students & their Families
Do you need assistance to regularly access healthy food? Have you considered applying to CalFresh? CalFresh is a California program that helps students buy food and eat healthier. It won’t affect your existing financial aid and you don’t need your parent's tax return information to apply.

The application only takes about ten minutes to complete and the average eligible student gets $150 each month.
Formerly Incarcerated Students Begin Anew through Re-Emerging Scholars Program
The Re-Emerging Scholars Program at SCC is a valuable resource for students who were justice-impacted and formerly incarcerated. The program creates a learning community where students receive support, such as weekly meetups with faculty and fellow students, counseling, mentorship, clubs, and leadership and internship opportunities.

"Not only have I been given the opportunity redefine myself as a person, but also the chance to redirect my path of life," said Brandon-Dale Fellows, a student in the program. "Re-Emerging Scholars is more than just an inside support group of like-minded individuals, it’s a family guiding each other toward life goal achievements and future success.”
SCC Alumnus Named '40 Under 40'
Congratulations to Roshaun Davis, who graduated with a Journalism degree from SCC, on being named one of the Sacramento Business Journal's "40 Under 40."

The title honors 40 local young professionals who "reflect the drive, commitment and passion that make Sacramento great."

Roshaun has made an impact in the community with his company, Unseen Heroes, which has done marketing for events like the mayor's inauguration and Midtown Farmers Market, and creates free programming in disadvantaged communities to remove barriers to economic accessibility.
