Chancellor’s Search Input Forums – Several Ways to Participate
The Los Rios District is holding in-person input forums at each college to hear from students and employees as part of the Chancellor’s Search process. For those unable to join in person, livestream links will be available on the Chancellor Search webpage.
The online feedback form will remain open through May 9 for you to share your thoughts and priorities for our next District Chancellor.
In lieu of an additional evening forum in May, an online survey will be available over the summer for students, employees, as well as community members to provide feedback.

Facility Master Plan College Forums: Share Your Vision for SCC
Sacramento City College is hosting two Facility Master Plan College Forums, Tuesday, May 6, in the City Café/Quad area. Drop in at any point during the morning or afternoon session and let us know your vision for the future of the college!
This is a unique opportunity for students and employees to give feedback on changes and improvements that will shape our campus environment.

These are not formal presentations. Instead, representatives will be on site with easels and boards in an open-house style format.

Mental health is an incredibly important part of your overall health. We would like to encourage all of our students, faculty, and staff to practice self-care and mental wellness in honor of the national observance of May as Mental Health Awareness Month.

Everyone deserves care and support. LRCCD offers staff training and assistance with identifying students' mental health needs. Visit the Health and Wellness Services for Students webpage to learn more about supporting students and available training courses.
In addition, mental health resources are available to employees through the Los Rios Employee Assistance Program.

Nathaniel Colley: Mr. Civil Rights of California and the West
Join the Sacramento Historical Society for a special evening celebrating the life and legacy of Nathaniel Colley, Sacramento’s first practicing Black attorney and a pioneering civil rights advocate.
This dinner show will honor his profound impact on justice in California and beyond — and help raise funds for a planned sculpture at the Robert T. Matsui Courthouse.
