Classified Leadership Academy

The Classified Leadership Academy (CLA) program is restarting this fall! The Classified Leadership Academy is a dynamic training and professional development program for permanent classified employees. The purpose of CLA is to grow and uplift classified employees to become leaders in the Los Rios Community College District. Participants gain essential core knowledge for leadership, practical tools for improving performance in the workplace, and a strong and supportive network. New Los Rios Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

As you may be aware, Los Rios’ previous Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider, MHN, left the EAP market as of June 30, 2023. After a thorough review of EAP vendors, SupportLinc was chosen as our new vendor effective July 1, 2023. Administered by CuraLinc Healthcare, the program offers guidance to help you address and resolve everyday issues at no cost to you or your family, including access to short-term counseling, financial expertise, legal consultation, child and elder care referrals, and more.

All requests for information or assistance are free of charge and completely confidential. You can contact the SupportLinc program 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Access support whenever needed, wherever is most convenient for you. To get started, call 1-888-881-5462, or log in to the SupportLinc web portal or eConnect mobile app (download via App Store or Google Play) with group code: losrios. Change to Bookstore Hours

Effective as of Monday, July 10, the campus bookstore will be closed between 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. through Friday, August 4. The temporary store hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Books also can be ordered online 24/7. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Learn About AAPI Experience with HIST 311

Tell students about HIST 311 — API Emphasis with Professor Holly Piscopo! They can fulfill their History requirements while also learning about the Asian American and Pacific Islander experiences. This is an in-person course in the Fall semester, meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1 p.m. to 2:20 p.m.
