CCC to HBCU College Fair is back at SCC!
Explore the incredible opportunities at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) by joining us for the HBCU College Fair on Thursday, November 7, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at SCC in the City Café!
Attendees will learn about academic programs, scholarships, student life at an HBCU, and get help with your college applications on-site. You'll also hear from current students and alumni about what it’s like to attend an HBCU.

Interested in serving on a hiring or interview committee? Join our online session on Friday, November 1, from 9:00 to 11:00 am to complete these essential training courses. Together, we’ll cover important details for serving on hiring committees in our “Hiring the Best” training, followed by a comprehensive session on becoming an effective Equity Representative.

Fall Resource Scavenger Hunt
SCC's Counseling and Transfer team invites all students to participate in the Fall Resource Scavenger Hunt! This fun and engaging event is designed to help students discover the many valuable resources available across the campus. This year we have options for students to join in on the fun whether they are on campus or remote participation.
Encourage students to participate for fun, prizes and to get familiar with their campus resources or take the test yourself to see if you’re familiar with SCC Resources. Ends Friday, November 22.

Los Rios Chancellor Brian King will host monthly office hours at each Los Rios college. This is an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to talk to Chancellor King about any topic important to them or their college in general.
