- Discreetly contact and share your location with campus police in an emergency by using the app’s Panic Button.
- Request a Campus Safety Escort from the Los Rios Police Department to walk you to your vehicle or other campus location.
- Send your location to a friend so they can track you in real time as you walk across campus and arrive safely at your destination.
- Submit a non-emergency crime tip.
- Access campus safety procedures for emergencies that may occur on campus.

Basic Needs Drive to Support SCC’s Panther Cares Center!
We are excited to announce Tri Counties Bank's "Community Cares Basic Needs Drive," benefiting SCC’s Panther Cares Center. This initiative runs through Monday, September 30. Tri Counties Bank is rallying its employees, customers, and supporters to donate essential items requested by colleges, both in-person and via an Amazon Wishlist, as well as raising funds to support the CCC Student Ambassador Program.

Be On the Alert: Email Phishing Scams Targeting Students
Recently there has been a surge in fraudulent activity and identity theft targeting students through phishing emails. As faculty and staff, it’s important to be aware of these issues and guide affected students through the appropriate steps to protect themselves:
File a police report with local law enforcement.
Report the fraud to the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Inspector General:

The Tech and Innovation Division had a fantastic weekend at the California Capital Airshow where they showcased programs and achievements of Sacramento City College. This event was a fantastic opportunity to connect with communities and aviation enthusiasts, highlighting our commitment to innovation and excellence.
Representing SCC with full force, our departments demonstrated their expertise and shared insights into various technical fields. Attendees had the chance to learn about our diverse programs, including:

In collaboration with the Youth Development Network’s leadership program Creciente, ARC is excited to welcome Julissa Arce, a leading voice for social justice, immigrant rights, and education equality, and the best-selling author of You Sound Like a White Girl.
