Women in Film
Join CRC Professors Diana Reed and Lauren Wagner for “Women in Film: Agents of Hope and Healing” on Thursday, March 10, from 1:00 to 2:20 pm via Zoom. This presentation celebrating Women’s History Month will include a screening and discussion of various depictions of women in films as agents of hope and healing. After watching each film segment, we will analyze the intention of the filmmaker, consider the historical accuracy of the content, and share the clip's impact on us as viewers.

Los Rios’ Refugee Career Pathways program welcomes the International Rescue Committee Immigration Team who will hold a town hall/clinic and discussion about immigration on Tuesday, March 8 at 4:00 pm via Zoom. Distinguished Service Award 2022
Are you graduating or transferring at the end of the academic year? Have you demonstrated a commitment to serving the SCC community or your community at large? Apply for the Distinguished Service Award!
The Distinguished Service Award is one of the most prestigious awards offered at Sacramento City College and dates back to the early years of the college. Two students will be selected.
This award comes with a $1,500 scholarship. Recipients will be honored in various ways including on the SCC website and in social media.

SCC Intoduces Food Trucks, Expanded Vending Items
New options for food on the SCC main campus! There will be food trucks on campus, Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Additionally there will be expanded vending options, including fresh items in City Café, Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

breathtaking collage that explores the depths to which humanity can sink and the heights of compassion of which we are capable. This production is intended for mature audiences.
