The day was full of cheer, smiles and even a few tears as our grads made their way through the commencement route to pick up SCC swag and their diploma holder, and pose for grad photos. Virtual brown bags are lunchtime trainings offered to all Los Rios employees, intended to bring folks together to learn topics that are applicable in the workplace or in their personal lives. Enjoy your lunch while you watch. Past topics have included mindful meditation, sleep tips, smart shopping, and more. The recordings of past virtual brown bags are listed on the employee website under “Resources.”

Employees use their Los Rios ID and password to log into multiple services, including Employee Self-Service, Los Rios Gmail, Microsoft Outlook, Canvas, and more. You can change your password and look up your employee ID on the Los Rios employee webpage.

The Los Rios libraries have decided to subscribe to a site license for Chronicle of Higher Education, which means all employees now get unlimited access to this resource from anywhere.

Please note that if you currently pay for a private subscription to the Chronicle, you could cancel it and create a new account with the Los Rios site license and maintain the same level of access.

Please look for an email prior to each event to sign up. Zoom info will be sent via a calendar invite on the day before the event to those who signed up.
