Gowns for Grads
Graduates, did you know that there is financial assistance for students who need help with paying for the cost of the cap, gown, and tassel ($43.50)? We don’t want this cost to prevent anyone from participating in the commencement ceremony!

The program will be run by Dean Andre Coleman and the Campus Interventions Office. The deadline to make requests will be Monday, May 16th.
If you are selected, a credit will be placed on your account at the bookstore and you may purchase your cap, gown and tassel in person up until the day of commencement.

A rollicking explosion of mistaken identity and general insanity! Join us for the CRC Black Box Theatre production of William Shakespeare's “The Comedy of Errors.”
One of Shakespeare's earliest, silliest, and most delightful plays presents an opportunity for CRC performers to stretch themselves in new, exciting ways that are fun, outrageous, surprising, and rarely "Shakespearean" (or boring). Don't miss out on this farcical tour-de-force.

Shout Out! 🎉
Correction: Andrea Gaytan was incorrectly identified last week as the Dean of the West Sacramento Center. She is the Dean at the SCC Davis Center.
Congratulations to Davis Center Dean Andrea Gaytan for being featured in the California Aggie in their feature recognizing influential women in the Davis community.
“Gaytan currently works with UC Davis and Sacramento City College on the California volunteer service grants project. She said that this project will connect students to volunteer opportunities with different nonprofit and public agencies in the sustainability, basic needs and K-12 education sectors. For their work, students would receive living stipends. Gaytan said that working on this project feels like a culminating moment in her career.”
