Giving Tuesday is December 3
It's Giving Tuesday, and the Los Rios Colleges Foundation is partnering with the American Association of Community Colleges to raise money for our most vulnerable students this holiday season through Los Rios Cares.
At Los Rios, we support thousands of students through our on-campus basic needs centers, including our very own Panther Cares Center. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to support the centers through the Los Rios Cares program to provide a safety net for students and their most pressing needs through food pantries, the Emergency Hotel Program, the Student Emergency Fund, textbook scholarships, and so much more.
Please help us by sharing the word and helping us give the gift of security this holiday season.

SCC Receives Johnson Controls Grant for Workforce Development Programs
For the third consecutive year, Sacramento City College has been awarded a substantial grant from the Johnson Controls Community College Partnership Program to support workforce development initiatives. This generous funding enables us to provide scholarships, equip students with essential tool bags, and supply laptops to those in need.
