Summer Schedule Now Live on the Website
The Summer 2021 class schedules are now live. The Summer 2021 semester is predominantly online, with only limited exceptions for programs that train first responders or those in areas that have an urgent and significant health and safety impact on our communities. Students receive summer enrollment appointment info on February 25. This is the second year that students enroll in summer and fall classes at different times; in the past summer and fall enrollment happened at the same time.
Grad Petition Deadline March 5
March 5 is the deadline for students to petition to graduate or earn a certificate. Students are encouraged to meet with a counselor to ensure they are ready to petition.
QPR Training to Prevent Suicide
Los Rios Health and Wellness Services is sponsoring several sessions of QPR training Question. Persuade. Refer. Three steps anyone can learn to prevent suicide. The training will be facilitated by Certified QPR Instructor Colby Arguelles, LCSW. Just like CPR, QPR is an emergency response to someone in crisis and can save lives. QPR is the most widely taught Gatekeeper training in the world on suicide prevention. After completing this training, you will receive individual access to QPR supplemental materials and a Gatekeeper of QPR Certificate.

There is a health and wellness resource available to you that covers a broad spectrum of topics.

CampusWell is an interactive online health and wellness magazine geared towards college students but features useful articles for everyone, supporting intellectual, physical & emotional wellbeing.
Mid-Semester Advanced Voice Recital Feb. 25
The Sacramento City College Music Department proudly presents our Advanced Voice and Mentorship students in their mid-semester recital. Repertoire will include selections from the classical canon as well as musical theatre.

City Theatre Presents "She Kills Monsters: Virtual Realms"
Ingenious playwright Qui Nguyen has retooled his popular play for an online performance format. The show opens Thursday, Feb. 25 and plays through Sunday, March 7. Details and tickets at www.citytheatre.net.

President Gutierrez's Office Hour
President Gutierrez will be holding an office hour twice a month during the Fall semester. Office hours will be held on the second Friday at 8:30 a.m. and fourth Thursday at 2:30 p.m. The next upcoming office hour will be Thursday, February 25, 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Please look for an email prior to each event to sign up. Zoom info will be sent via a calendar invite on the day before the event to those who signed up.
