UC Davis Engineering Info Session
Are you interested in transferring to UC Davis as an Engineering major? Los Rios has partnered with the UC Davis Transfer Opportunity Program (TOP) and AvenueE Program to provide Engineering students with an overview of the transfer process during an information session on Thursday, Oct. 14, from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. via Zoom.
In this session, you will:
- Learn about admissions requirements
- Meet current students
- Connect with Engineering faculty
- And learn about support programs, including AvenueE

Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. According to the CDC other than skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common cancer among American women. Mammograms are the best way to find breast cancer early, when it is easier to treat and before it is big enough to feel or cause symptoms. The National Breast Cancer Foundation provides early detection screenings, including mammograms, breast health education and a supportive community. For more information please visit:
