Spring Enrollment Starts Soon  

Priority registration for the Spring 2022 semester starts next Monday, November 22. An extensive selection of online and on-campus general education, university transfer, career education, and personal enrichment courses are available. View class schedule. The spring semester runs January 15 through May 18. Other shorter-term classes begin throughout the semester. You should have received your enrollment appointment day and time. You can register for classes anytime thereafter via eServices.

Reminder: The deadline to submit your University of California (UC) or California State University (CSU) Fall 2022 application is Tuesday, November 30. Take advantage of upcoming transfer events to get assistance with your application. If you have any questions, contact the Transfer Center. 

Join FLC’s Equity Center for its 1st Annual Gathering to Honor Native American Heritage Month on Friday, November 19, from 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. via Zoom. The virtual event will include local Native speakers and storytellers, language lessons, a performance from a local Alaska Native dance group, a Native recipe share, and a book giveaway. This time of the year is for family, community, and celebrating whatever you have, no matter how big or small. However, for many of us, the holiday season can elicit emotions and environmental situations that can place strain on our wellness and mental health. Join us today, Friday, November 19, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. via Zoom for this student wellness workshop that will focus on maintaining wellness, balance, and health during the holiday season. Hosted by the Los Rios Center for Mental Health and Wellness.

Please join the CRC Anthropology Department on Tuesday, November 30, from 4 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. via Zoom for Anthro Stories with Lee Kraljev . Lee will be sharing her academic and career journeys in anthropology, public health, and social justice advocacy.

Lee works with local non-profit organizations including Planned Parenthood and the Stockton Younger Women's Task Force and has international experiences teaching refugee children in Lebanon, working on an archaeological excavation in Turkey, and collaborating on a research project on the villas of Buenos Aires. A former community college student, Lee earned degrees in anthropology and public administration from the University of Southern California. Lee also completed the Los Rios Faculty Diversity Internship Program last year and will be teaching anthropology at CRC for the first time this spring!
