Fall Canvasses:  Join Us!!
Check out our amazing youth team that knocked on hundreds of doors in Oak Park and Tahoe Park last Saturday and had over 120 conversations with voters asking them to vote for opportunity by SUPPORTING  #MEASUREU  &  #PROP10 and OPPOSING  #PROP5 .

ACT will be hosting 2 more canvasses on October 27th at Robert's Family Development Center, and November 3rd at Mutual Housing River View.

We will also have phone banks at the office from 6:30-8:30pm on October 29th, and all day on November 6th (last day of the election).

Support for Measure U
We stand in support of Measure U as an opportunity to invest and reinvest in neighborhood services and programs. Many impacted neighborhoods of Sacramento suffer greatly from severe gaps in social services of employment, housing and accessible programs for youth and the elderly. Sacramento ACT believes that Measure U offers a reasonable revenue approach for our city to address service gaps and uplift the living status of the most vulnerable among us.
ACT Environmental Justice Canvassing
Last Saturday, Sacramento ACT leaders canvassed in West Arden Arcade and had conversations with residents about their biggest concerns in their neighborhood and about Proposition 10. Over thirty leaders gathered at Unitarian Universalist Society of Sacramento and heard presentations on the neighborhood demographics including high poverty and asthma rates, as well as a presentation on Proposition 10. Leaders knocked on doors and invited residents to a West Arden Arcade Community Meeting on November 12 where they will be able to share their concerns with the county.
