Many people attend Civil War shows with the intent of buying or selling items with other interested dealers and collectors. The people who are seriously interested in the field would rather pick up and carry home a printed directory of the dealers/collectors than have to search for them on the Internet after a show. They will now have the information they need to reach out to the dealers and collectors to take home with them after the show is over. All the contact information will be in the palm of their hands.
The 2022 printing of 8,000 color copies will be distributed beginning at the Charleston Civil War Show in January 2022 through the Franklin Civil War Show in December 2022. Mike Kent’s Dalton Civil War Show, Baltimore Antique Arms Show, and Mansfield’s Ohio Civil War Show, GBPA Gettysburg Show, Zurko’s Civil War Shows in Chicago, and the Richmond area show, are just some of the shows they will be available to the public. The Gettysburg Heritage Center and the Regimental Quartermaster in Gettysburg have offered to distribute printed copies in five locations in downtown Gettysburg. Also, we have them going to Allen Wandling's mid-west Antique Extravaganza during the year.
In addition to the printed copy, a digital copy is available online, for free to download and print, on CivilWarDealers.com. Customers can click on your hyperlink, and it will take them directly to your website or email you. This digital copy is shared on Facebook, Twitter, and more.
We have partnered with Mike Kent, owner of MKShows.com and he will have the directory listed on his website as well.
Our printer has had over a 10% increase in the paper cost this year. The cost for ads has only raised 5%. Each dealer/collector can run a listing size ad for $99 with a color logo or photograph of typical items they sell or are looking for to purchase. The price for a 1/2-page color ad is $195 per and a full-page color ad is $350.
Ad sizes are:
· Directory Listing: ¼-page size. $99
· ½-page: (4.25" high x 5.5" wide) $195
· Full page: (8.5" high x 5.5" wide) $350
· For bleeds add .125” on all margins of your ad.
Deadlines: Ad reservation deadline - Nov. 12, 2021
Ad submission deadline - Nov. 24, 2021
Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity! Reservations and payment must be received no later than November 13th in order for your ad to be included in the Directory. I will have a table at the Nov. 12-13th show at the Richmond Raceway (sponsored by Bullet and Shell (Carl Sitherwood and Mike Ward). I'll have ad reservations sheets and will collect payment at the show.
