Civiltec Engineering
FALL 2017

You might not know it from the weather, but we are officially in Fall and looking to close out the calendar year in great shape. Our Arizona team is focused on a wide variety of civil and water resources engineering projects throughout Arizona and California .

As more opportunities come our way, we need to bring more talent on board to execute projects. Our new HR Business Partner, Susan Solebello, is already making great strides in helping us recruit exceptional, passionate people to join our team. We look forward to sharing more about brand-new teammates and brand-new projects with you soon.

Check out this Fall 2017 Quarterly Newsletter for a brief glance at the latest Civiltec projects in Arizona and the people who make this work happen. If you know others who would appreciate this Quarterly Newsletter,  and encourage them to join our mailing list!

Balancing Water Needs in Prescott Valley
Organized in 2007, the Upper Verde River Watershed Protection Coalition (UVRWPC) is a joint effort between the Town of Prescott Valley, City of Prescott, Town of Chino Valley, Yavapai County, and the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe. The coalition is committed to the protection of the Upper Verde River base flow, while balancing the reasonable water needs of both residents and businesses that reside within the watershed boundaries.

The Town of Prescott Valley has recently contracted Civiltec to design and implement a new rainwater harvesting and aquifer recharge pilot project.

Reducing Soil Degradation in Prescott Valley
Civiltec was selected by the Town of Prescott Valley to assist in stabilizing soils and restoring historic grasslands in Barney York Ranch. The team will work with the Upper Verde River Watershed Protection Coalition (UVRWPC) to build four variations of silt dams at ten locations within the Ranch, 13 miles west of Paulden, Arizona.

We love hearing news from everyone in the Civiltec community. Feel free to reach out, say hello and tell us all the news from your organization!

Staff Spotlight

" I love spending time with my family in New Mexico and here in Arizona. I travel frequently to spend time with my parents. I especially enjoy spending time with my grandchildren at the Arizona Children's Museum in Mesa, attending professional and ASU sporting events, and teaching them the importance of having fun outdoors by taking them camping, hunting, fishing, and hiking.
