Greetings!

Spring is an eager time at Civiltec as we prepare to launch our 2021 internship program, expand our team across our four offices and celebrate the milestone of 35 years in business.

Excitement is in the air as college students around the country receive offers to join Civiltec’s robust summer internship program, covering multiple disciplines, projects and locations. The experience is as valuable for our full-time staff as it is for the interns: each has something to learn from the other, and our interns always make valuable contributions towards handling our ever-growing roster of projects. We look forward to sharing more about our 2021 interns, their interests and their work at Civiltec soon.

The 2021 interns are sure to bring some welcomed enthusiasm as Civiltec continues to achieve record growth and our staff take on impressive responsibilities. We are on pace to surpass 100 new engagements this year! Looking back at 2020, it is almost difficult to imagine that 2021 could bring even more expansion—yet the first quarter of 2021 has reset our expectations once again.

New projects in Arizona span our full suite of service offerings and provide our staff with a multitude of growth opportunities in their areas of expertise. We are proud to partner with cities, counties, utility providers and public agencies across Arizona to support critical infrastructure and services for local communities.

Sunday, March 21, 2021 marked 35 years in business for Civiltec since the firm’s incorporation in 1986. Founded in Pasadena, California, the firm has since grown to serve hundreds of clients, expand into new regions and establish a reputation as an industry leader in the southwestern United States.
Civiltec’s internship program exposes students to a variety of disciplines, including civil engineering, surveying and marketing. Interns have the opportunity to work directly with Civiltec’s experts on a variety of hands-on projects, giving them tangible experience in navigating the daily responsibilities of a full-service engineering firm.
Civiltec was fortunate to continue the essential work of providing engineering services to Arizona and California communities in 2020, with several milestone projects completed and record numbers achieved. Staff members reflected on flagship projects completed and what they were most grateful for.
