Civiltec Engineering
WINTER 2017/18

In the spirit of celebrating a new year and the new projects that have come our way, we have welcomed some new talent in Arizona. We are happy to have Richard Aldridge now serving as Principal Engineer and Branch Manager of our Prescott office, and we are looking forward to Stephen "Sky" Younger beginning his work with us at the Phoenix office on March 5th. And, as part of our Leadership and Ownership Transition (LT/OT) Plan update, Andrew Shroads is embracing his new role as an Associate.

I am very proud to say that, after 32 years of being in business, Civiltec's future continues to look bright year after year. We will be celebrating this 32-year milestone at our upcoming annual "Day at the Races" event on Saturday, April 14 at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, CA. Civiltec staff, clients, and their families are all welcome.

Check out this Winter 2017/18 Quarterly Newsletter for a brief glance at the latest Civiltec projects in Arizona and the people who make this work happen. If you know others who would appreciate this Quarterly Newsletter,  and encourage them to join our mailing list!

Sincerely,
Chris Dusza, P.E.

Civiltec Expands Leadership & Ownership
LT OT Plan
In 1986, Civiltec was founded on the principles of superior client services and technical excellence. The team has remained committed to upholding these standards by utilizing the latest technology and employing a stellar group of creative engineers.

The Leadership and Ownership Transition (LT/OT) Plan emerged from years of upfront planning by the Original Founders and discussions about the future. As part of the LT/OT Plan, Andrew ShroadsBed Dawadi, and Greg Ripperger were elevated to Associate level on January 1, 2018.

Improving Highway Safety in Prescott
Civiltec was recently contracted by the Yavapai County Department of Public Works to work on the Wiliamson Valley Road highway safety improvement project. The project includes design, management, and construction administration for five segments of highway that have been flagged for safety improvements by the County.

We love hearing news from everyone in the Civiltec community. Feel free to reach out, say hello and tell us all the news from your organization!

Staff Spotlight

"I have played guitar, bass, and sang in a worship team and an Oldies band. In the '70s, I placed 4th in the National Judo Championships. I grew up in the Navy; I lived in Taiwan (known as the island of Formosa back then) when I was in grade school, then in Japan when I was in high school. I earned my private pilot license in 1994. I also enjoy camping in the summers, woodworking and exploring/cruising the forest service roads in our '76 CJ-5 Jeep that we have owned for 38 years! You get to do a lot of stuff when you've been around for over 62 years."
