2018 Civiltec Internship Program
|
One of Civiltec's core values is to foster talent. Each summer, the firm takes on a number of interns to achieve this goal while supplementing the team's increased workload. For Summer 2018, Civiltec is happy to welcome six interns to join Gray Garrison, who began his internship last year.

Expanding Services and Capabilities
|
Civiltec has recently expanded the firm's overall expertise to include electrical and controls engineering, aerial surveying by drone, and additional surveying and mapping expertise.
Two of our Registered Land Surveyors--Ben Tilman and Ken Davidson in the Prescott office--recently earned their UAS commercial-level pilot certifications from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to operate our drone.

Sponsoring UHSH's Adopt A Meal Program

Last year, Civiltec Partner David Song volunteered at Union Station Homeless Services, a nonprofit organization part of a premier group of human services agencies in County of Los Angeles. In July 2018, David returned to USHS with Greg Ripperger, his family, and other members of the Civiltec team to sponsor the Adopt A Meal program.

Repairing Water Reservoirs in Pomona
|
The City of Pomona recently contracted Civiltec to analyze the structure of two reservoirs and assess if either are in need of repairs. Built around the 1930s, Reservoirs 5A and 6 are due for a structural and seismic evaluation. Final plans and specifications are scheduled to be completed this Fall.
