As we enter the holiday season, I am honored to reflect on a year defined by growth, resilience, and our team’s steadfast dedication to Civiltec’s mission. Together, we have celebrated meaningful milestones—National Intern Day, Fourth of July, bowling and baseball gatherings, and impactful community initiatives like the Union Station lunch donations and our back-to-school drive. Collecting 22 backpacks and seven boxes of supplies for a local Arizona charity and providing over 50 lunches to those in need in California underscore Civiltec’s commitment to enriching and uplifting the communities
we serve.
Our team’s expertise and dedication drive the value we deliver each day. This quarter, we recognized the impactful contributions of interns Landon Allen, Melissa Shaw, and Andrea Chavez, and welcomed new professionals—Sam Wheeler, PE, Grace Sun, EIT, Jesse Cabral, PE, and Danny Quirarte, EIT—whose talents have strengthened our teams in Upland, Prescott, Fullerton, and Monrovia. Their fresh perspectives affirm Civiltec’s commitment to nurturing the future of engineering and to advancing our legacy of excellence. Equally rewarding is recognizing team members like Steven Walker, PE, Jenny Tsan, and Sanjay Verma, PE, who have earned key certifications and well-deserved promotions, each exemplifying the high standards and professional growth that define Civiltec.
In our project work, Civiltec reached significant benchmarks that underscore our unyielding commitment to quality and our clients’ vision. Among these are the completion of the Well 34 Nitrate Treatment Plant for Monte Vista Water District, operational upgrades for Chino Valley’s Police Station, and the launch of construction on the Las Lomas Pump Station to strengthen the Duarte system. The first phase of the Capital Improvement Program in Beverly Hills, involving the replacement of over 11,000 linear feet of critical pipeline infrastructure, exemplifies our commitment to enhancing community resilience through engineered solutions. Additionally, the completion of Chino Valley’s 20,580 linear feet of FY 2022-2023 Street Improvements is a testament to our dedication to delivering with precision, efficiency, and enduring quality. To our project managers and teams who have driven these projects to fruition, I extend my deepest gratitude for upholding Civiltec’s standards of excellence and service.
As we draw to a close on 2024, may this season bring us renewed focus and momentum for the opportunities before us. Thank you for the professionalism, integrity, and dedication that sustain Civiltec’s success. I invite each of you to stay connected through our website and social media for the latest news, and please feel free to share this message with anyone interested in following our journey.
Wishing all a safe and prosperous holiday season,
W. David Byrum, PE | President
