As we reflect on the close of another remarkable year, one idea stands out above all others: the power of One Civiltec. Across every office, every project, and every challenge, it is our people—our greatest asset—who bring this concept to life. Together, we embody a shared purpose, united by a commitment to excellence, collaboration, and service to our clients and communities.
This quarter, we achieved significant milestones that exemplify the expertise and dedication of our team. The Magnolia Avenue Water Main Interconnection advanced regional water reliability by providing access to emergency supply from a neighboring water purveyor. Additionally, at the California Institution for Men, our evaluation and rehabilitation of potable water wells ensured the facility continues to have safe and reliable water sources, in association with JC Chang & Associates Inc. The completion of the City of Azusa Light & Water Projects and the La Habra Heights County Water District Vigil Reservoir Drainage Repair Project further strengthened our dedication to municipal improvements.
This quarter also highlighted the vibrant culture that defines Civiltec. From fostering a supportive environment where new ideas flourish to celebrating promotions and welcoming new team members. Our team brought creativity to the SCWUA Vendor Fair with a Halloween fortune teller event and a company-wide costume contest. The highlight of the season was bringing together employees from all six offices for a shared holiday celebration aboard the Queen Mary. This special event embodied the spirit of One Civiltec, allowing us to connect, reflect, and celebrate our collective achievements as a unified team. Speaking of our team this quarter we spotlighted some of our newest members in the Civiltec family Xiaolin Yang, EIT, Raymond Gomez, PE, CFM, and Alexander Mairena, EIT. These individuals have begun strengthening our design capabilities and exemplify the fresh perspectives and expertise that propel us forward. We also honored the incredible contributions of long-standing staff like Ken Davidson, RLS, who has been with Civiltec for 25 years, setting a benchmark of dedication and leadership.
As we look to 2025, I am confident that our unified approach will continue to foster innovation, strengthen relationships, and deliver exceptional results for our clients. As we celebrate this holiday season, let us also hold in our hearts those impacted by the devastating fires in Los Angeles. Our thoughts are with everyone affected, and we extend our gratitude to the first responders protecting lives and communities. If you’d like to support relief efforts or learn more about available resources, visit the California Fire Foundation’s Disaster Relief page. After the holiday season, we wish you and your families safety, peace, and joy as we move into the new year. Thank you for the role you play in making Civiltec a place where excellence thrives.
