While the Claggett campus is closed to guests through May 14, we want you to know that we are planning for a summer full of play, worship, and laughter! Summer Camp is the heart of Claggett's mission, and we are looking forward to celebrating all together at the end of this time of social isolation.
As excited as we are for the summer camp season, we also know that the public health situation is changing daily. With camper and staff safety as our top priority,
we are suspending our non-refundable deposit policy for summer camp registrations until Claggett re-opens to guests.
Under ordinary circumstances, a non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to secure a camper's space at camp. However, we know that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought uncertainty to so many aspects of our lives--including summer planning for many families. As such, registrations received during this time will be eligible for a full refund in the event that the camper cancels registration.
An announcement will be made after Claggett's re-opening, scheduled for May 14, regarding the reinstatement of the non-refundable deposit policy. There will be a short grace period.
Although we do not anticipate it at this time, in the event a camp session is cancelled, all registrants will receive a full refund.
As always, scholarships are also available for all camp sessions. Contact Suzi Warfield, Program Registrar, to learn more.
The Claggett staff is praying for all our campers as we weather the COVID-19 pandemic. We can't wait until the day we can gather around a campfire with you again!
