Clarification Regarding 2024 Refuse Pickup:

Over the past week, we have received many phone calls regarding the change in the number of cans residents may place curbside for each refuse pickup day. We have enjoyed a wonderful, long-standing working relationship with Marangi Waste Management with whom we have a contract with for refuse and recycling pickup. It has been our experience that they have been and continue to be very accommodating to resident needs. Unfortunately, in recent months, the residential pickup has exceeded the allotted amount of refuse tonnage as per our agreement. Because of this, it is now necessary to implement a can limit each refuse pickup day.

Please understand: THE CAN SIZE DESCRIPTION IS A GUIDELINE TO ENSURE WE REMAIN IN COMPLIANCE WITH TONNAGE REQUIREMENTS. RESIDENTS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO PURCHASE NEW CANS. There is a *Limit of (2) 35 gallon cans per pickup or equivalent thereof. Pickup is not guaranteed if more than 2 cans of this size or equivalent thereof are placed curbside. Please prepare accordingly.

We hope this clarifies your concerns. Thank you for your understanding. Best wishes for a wonderful holiday season!

Sincerely,

Tony Cardone
