A message from Clark CGA Director

Hamed Alemohammad

Clark CGA Director

Dear Clark CGA Community,

I am excited to share recent updates from our team as we step into the new year. We continue to push the boundaries of geospatial analytics recognized by a recent award from Taylor Geospatial Institute and AWS to leverage generative AI for land cover change prediction. Our team is also working on a new release of the Pond Aquaculture and Coastal Wetlands map, funded by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. We also celebrate the achievements of our students, including a well-deserved fellowship award. Last month, we had the opportunity to engage with the broader geospatial community at the AGU Fall Meeting in Washington, DC, and we look forward to more such interactions at upcoming events in the next couple of months.

I invite you to explore the stories in this newsletter and connect with us as we shape the future of geospatial analytics together!
