Clarke U Return to Campus Plan
Fall is always an exciting time on the campus of Clarke University. While we know things have changed for fall 2020, we are so excited to see both the new and returning faces of our Clarkie family on campus. Please note signs depicting proper social distancing measures on entrances, hallway walls, and floors. Phase 2 of employee return to campus is underway, with employees returning half time and staggering A/B days on campus. Student-athletes began moving in the weekend of August 8-9, and more students will continue to arrive on campus until classes begin on August 24. Learn more about our plans to return to campus here.

Move-In 2020
Every year, move-in is an especially thrilling time, though it looks a bit different this year. 130 Clarke student athletes participated in early athlete move-in the weekend of August 8-9. Spirits were high as couches and boxes made their way to their new home away from home in our residence halls. Safety measures were in place; everyone in attendance was masked up and practiced social distancing. Students moved in during appointed time slots and were allowed to bring two helpers. Students will continue to move in throughout the next weeks.

One of the tasks initially included in the Tuckpointer’s job description was to send handwritten letters to the new student. Today, that communication looks more like an email or a text. Read More
