  • School During the Pandemic: Clarke families and two professionals share their unique experiences with school during the pandemic in Alexander Graham Bell Association's digital publication Volta Voices.

  • Clarke Alum Published in National Journal: Clarke is pleased to share that a Clarke alum's original poem was published in Wordgathering: A Journal of Disability and Literature. Juliet attended Clarke Northampton and is now in 11th grade at a mainstream high school.

  • Clarke Announces New Chief Program Officer (CPO): Clarke is proud to announce Judy Sexton, MS, CED, LSLS Cert. AVEd, former director of Clarke Philadelphia, as CPO, overseeing programmatic compliance, curriculum development and quality improvement for Clarke's programs and services.

Clarke Alum and Scholarship Recipient Shares Winter Performance
Garrett, a recipient of the Caroline A. Yale Memorial Scholarship, has a passion for music and has been playing the piano for four years. Now a sophomore in high school, he takes honors classes and is an advocate for his peers.
Virtual Holiday Workout Raises Over $22,000 to Benefit Clarke
Thanks to amazing fundraising efforts and philanthropic giving, Siena's Squad raised a goal-shattering $22,000! The virtual workout fundraiser was made possible thanks to the incredible support of the Wasser family, JR Capital, Pilates instructor Mari Rubin and Clarke's village of support.
A Holiday Treat in Support of Clarke
Kilwins Jacksonville and and its generous owners, the Stallings family, donated $2 to Clarke for each box of their hand-paddled fudge purchased in December.

Rabbi Elyssa Cherney, mom of Clarke Philadelphia preschooler, Ava, and founder of nonprofit Tackling Torah, hosted a virtual class and taught Clarke preschoolers about Hanukkah.
Clarke Florida had a special visitor "Zoom in" from the North Pole — Santa! Hear preschoolers share their "wish lists" and ask Santa fun questions (guaranteed to make you smile). Thank you WJXT/News4Jax for sharing!

Shane learned to listen and talk at Clarke Philadelphia. His mom honored the anniversary of the day her son's hearing technology was activated by noting: "We have celebrated every sound, word and phrase and are thankful every day! This would not be possible if it wasn't for our Children's Hospital of Philadelphia team, and of course our #ClarkeVillage."

Since 1867, Clarke has provided children who are deaf or hard of hearing with the education needed to succeed in a hearing world. Clarke has evolved to best meet the needs of children and families today though our infant-toddler, virtual tVISIT, preschool, K-8, mainstream and summer programs, as well as through our hearing center, comprehensive educational evaluations and research and professional development.
