Solidarity Mural in Dubuque
A collaboration led by a local artist, Voices Productions, and the City of Dubuque has brought a new mural with a timely message to Main Street in downtown Dubuque. The mural promotes a positive message of acceptance in response to national events and local calls for changes surrounding racial  equity  and justice for communities of color. Clarke students and alumni have enthusiastically taken part in the painting and creation of the mural. Read More
Clarke Nursing Alumna Fights COVID-19 on Front Lines
Bobbie Lona Nienkark is a 2015 nursing graduate from Clarke who is studying to earn her DNP. She says that nursing is her passion. “I grew up very close with my family. My grandmother carried a legacy she passed down to my mother, and she to me, as nursing was never a conscious career choice.”
In-Person Alumni Homecoming Events for 2020 Canceled
The health and safety of the university community are of utmost importance to Clarke. Therefore, in an abundance of caution, and taking many variables into consideration, Clarke has made the decision, with the support of the Clarke Alumni Association Board, to cancel in-person alumni Homecoming events scheduled for October 2-4, 2020.
