SAYING GOODBYE TO AN OLD FRIEND
by
Pastor Rich Hasselbach
On Wednesday, May 5th, Clarkstown Reformed Church will say goodbye to a lifelong member, Art Erikson. He was born in West Nyack in 1921, the child of Erik and Marie Erikson, who were also members of CRC. Artie grew up in the church. He lived, as a child, in his family's home at 67 Demarest Avenue, within walking distance of our church. At the Reformed Church, Art developed his deep faith and the integrity that became one of the hallmarks of his life.

CHURCH UPDATES
Renovations
We've been busy preparing for our church reopening on May 9th. This week, our historic church is being painted. The interior of the sanctuary will be painted at a later date. Updates have also been made to the Fellowship Hall, with new flooring downstairs and fresh paint in the church offices.

Donations to help with the upkeep of this landmark are greatly appreciated!

FOR THE LEAST OF THESE
by
Rev. Annie Bovian
The Clarkstown Reformed Church's dedication to the Community is serving the "least of these." (Matthew 25)

Many of those whom we serve are newly released residents from the jail and prison population. Upon their release they enter into two programs the Church supports; Providence House and Strive, both located in New York City.

The Church received a request from the aforementioned programs for toiletries which they are desperately in need of. We are asking our congregation and friends to help us supply the needs of our brothers and sisters in Christ.

The programs are asking for:
Soap
Toothpaste
Toothbrushes
Deodarant (for males and females)
Razors
Toiletry bags
Female socks (assorted sizes)
Male socks (assorted sizes)

The Church will begin its first in-person service since the pandemic on Mother's Day, May 9th, 2021 at our 10:30am service. Please bring your donations at that time.

All those not able to attend the in-person service are asked to kindly send or bring your donation to:
