(Autothermal Thermophilic Aerobic Digestion) 

   ThermAer�, is a state of the art biosolids digestion  

   process.  The major benefits of this process are: 

• Overall reduction of total solids by over 50%. 
• Reduction of the volatile solids by 60 to 70%.
• No production of methane.
• Existing tanks can be utilized for the process.
• No production of odor-producing H2S, mercaptans or amines.
• The off-gases are processed through a biofilter to remove the ammonia produced in the system.
• The solids are easily dewatered using a belt filter press or centrifuge (an increase in dewatered cake solids is typically achieved). 
• The resulting biosolids are classified as Class A under the 503 regulations and contain no offensive odors.
• The biosolids are rich in nitrogen and phosphorus and therefore are an excellent soil amendment.
