A Message from the CVCA Administration
Student Class Schedules are Ready!
Dear Students and Parents,
Class schedules are now available to view and print from the CVCA Family Portal (HERE). Please bring a printed copy of your schedule with you on your first day of school. The first day of school (Wednesday, August 12) will be a BLUE day. The second day of school (Thursday, August 13) will be a ROYAL day. You will see the BLUE and ROYAL days reflected on your schedule.

New students should also bring a printed copy of their schedule to new student orientation next week. If you have trouble registering or logging into Family Portal, our Technology Department can help. Their contact information is below.

Finding your Schedule in Family Portal:
In Family Portal, click on “Student,” then “Schedules”, and then click on the student’s name. It is important to review your schedule to make sure all required academic subjects for your grade level are listed.

Requesting Class Changes:
Due to class balancing concerns and the necessity of reducing class size in order to allow distance in the classroom, we cannot honor requests to change class periods (but remain in the same course) or change study halls/PRT. While we would love to accommodate your requests, we are unable to at this time. So, please do not request these changes. Also, it is possible that your schedule may change before the start of school in order to maintain classroom balance and class size with the addition of newly enrolling students at your grade level. We will do our best to avoid this, but if your schedule changes, you will be notified by the Guidance Office.

If you need to request a course change or see a problem with your schedule missing a class, please contact your Guidance Counselor as listed below. All requests to change courses must be verified by a parent/guardian via a written note, an email, or a phone call. Please understand that some requests may not be possible due to restrictions on class size.

No class additions or drops are permitted after Friday, August 21, 2020.
