Thanks to all who responded to our inquiries about your 'best guess' reunion attendance. We currently estimate around 130 guests will attend our 50th reunion on September 28, at Villa Ragusa in Campbell, and believe there is opportunity for many more to attend as we work our "MIA list," invite other classes, and several who are undecided free up their calendars for September 28.

This will be a special, milestone reunion and we hope everyone will consider attending!

Reunion Tickets are on Sale Now!

Tickets for our 50th high school class reunion are on sale now for only $80.

Several of our classmates have generously made financial contributions to help keep reunion tickets at a very reasonable price and allow the Reunion Committee to provide additional fun activities. Although they wish to remain anonymous, on behalf of our class, we THANK THEM for their generosity!

We set up a reunion checking account at Wells Fargo Bank to receive payments and pay expenses.

Additionally, we set up a Zelle account to receive ticket purchases. It's pretty easy but requires you to download the Zelle App onto your smart phone.

Once you have the Zelle App, scroll through the bank options and choose Wells Fargo. You can purchase your ticket(s) by entering the amount ($80 per guest) and my email (terebjohnson@aol.com) - funds will be deposited directly into our Wells Fargo reunion account.

Please try to purchase your tickets sooner than later to help us keep track of the attendance outlook. We plan to increase the ticket price to $90 beginning September 1st.

Courtyard San Jose Campbell

We have made arrangements with Courtyard San Jose Campbell who will provide a group block of 15 rooms checking in on Friday, September 27 and checking out on Sunday, September 29. Additional rooms can be added as needed.

The discounted rate is $149+tax for a single king, which works out to about $167 per night. The discounted rate is $169+tax for double queens, which works out to about $190 per night. Costs are cancellable as long as rooms are cancelled 24 hours prior to arrival. Complimentary parking (typically $15 per night) is included for anyone who books under the group rate.

Reunion Weekend Activities

Friday Night

Informal get together at Loma Brewing Company.

Saturday & Sunday

Several activities are being considered for Saturday and Sunday. Golf, a New Almaden history tour, and a picnic are a few options being considered.

Burger Pit Farewell Lunch

And lastly, several of us who still live in the area will be meeting at the Burger Pit (1349 Blossom Hill Rd, San Jose) at noon, Wednesday, February 21st for a farewell lunch before it closes in April.

So far, Steve Wilson, Dave Schmitz, Michael Battin, Pat Wilkus, Rich Kock, Vicki Webber Ranzau, Lu Ann Hsue Fleschsig, Linda Contreras, Sharon Cunigan, Teresa Summerkorn Parker, and Tere Johnson have indicated they are coming.

Join us if you can for a burger and mini reunion before our 50th reunion weekend in September.
