We wish all of you a blessed Holy Week and Happy Easter!
We wanted to send you a few reminders before we leave for our Spring Break. Mercy High School will be closed from April 17-April 29. All registered students and families, please make note of the following important dates and information.

Please be sure to get all of your information uploaded into the FACTS management system by April 30, 2019 to be considered for financial aid. The committee will meet in mid-May to determine awards to families, and you should receive notification in late May to early June. There is more information and the link to FACTS  here.

Math and English Placement Tests - May 7 or May 13

Math testing for all incoming students is mandatory. English testing is for those students who have been contacted by the Admissions Office.   
Both days testing will begin promptly at 3:15pm, so we ask that students arrive by 3:00pm to check-in. Each test will take approximately an hour, but there is no time limit for either test. 
Language Placement Tests - May 9 
Please register your daughter to take the placement exam by e-mailing the appropriate language teacher.

Please be sure to sign-in to PowerSchool, change your password, and complete the emergency contact information. Instructions can be found below.
*This information must be completed before your daughter receives her schedule in August!
If you are a new family to Mercy, please follow the following directions:
- There you will be asked to enter your username and password. Username is the first initial of mom's name followed by last name (ex. Jennifer Smith - jsmith), password is Mercy2019. Please be sure to capitalize the M in Mercy.
- You will receive a prompt to change your password that needs to be completed.
-  It will take you to your daughter's PS account, where you will see three sets of instructions at the top middle of the page.
- Click on the third one that says click here to register new student.
- It should take you to an emergency contact and demographics form.
- Complete the form.
- You don't need to print or sign.
- Click submit.
Please make a note of your username and password. You will need them in August when schedules are released.
If you have a daughter at Mercy currently or have a daughter who has graduated from Mercy, please follow the following directions:
-Login to your PowerSchool account.
-Click on your 8thgrade daughter at the top of the screen.
-On the left side, click on grades and attendance.
-You will see three sets of instructions at the top middle of the page.
-Click on the third one that says click here to register new student.
-It should take you to an emergency contact and demographics form.
-Complete the form.
-You don't need to print or sign.
-Click submit.

Please be sure to let the Admissions Office know if you would NOT like to be included in our carpool spreadsheet if you did not sign the Opt out sheet at registration. You can email us at A directory for carpool interest will be sent out via email to all Mercy families in late June.

All incoming 9th graders, transfer students, athletes, and those taking a PE class will need a physical performed and signed (by an MD, DO, PA, or NP) on or after 4/15/2019.

Henry Ford Health System MHSAA physicals will be offered to current and incoming Mercy High School students and athletes.

Students may be seen without a parent provided that the MHSAA form is completed and signed by both student and parent prior to arriving. The cost for each physical is $20, payable by cash or check made out to Henry Ford Health System.

Mercy has teamed with Privit for MHSAA Forms and Physicals. The MHSAA Physical Form can be printed right from Privit. Once you have completed the Pre-participation History Form, print and bring completed form to physical appointment and/or your healthcare provider for signature.    
1. From your student's home Privit screen, scroll down to Print Documents.
2. Click Print next to the Pre-Participation History Form.
3. Print as you normally do from your device, take form to health care provider.

Basketball holds a summer camp for grades 5 - 9 on June 17 - 20 from 12pm-3pm. Click here for info and registration.
