Blessings in Christ, Class of 2024 students and families!

I pray you are well as we enter into this holiday season. We have a few important deadlines this month that I want to make sure are on your radar. Please keep reading and mark your calendars accordingly!

We are thrilled to announce that our 2024 Graduation Service will take place on Thursday, May 30 at 6:00 p.m. Graduation will be held at Saddleback Church (Lake Forest campus) in their main worship auditorium. Graduation Rehearsal will take place on Wednesday, May 29 at 6:00 p.m. at Saddleback Church and is mandatory for all seniors to attend.

Herff Jones will be on campus in the Building A lobby from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7, collecting orders for letterman jackets, class rings, and cap & gowns. No appointment is necessary.

If purchasing a letterman jacket, bring your Varsity letter and order form. You will not be sized or be able to order unless you have your Varsity letter with you. Please contact your head coach for Varsity lettering requirements. 

All Class of 2024 graduates are required to purchase the Minimalistic Package. This package is $105.00 and includes the graduate’s cap and gown, a panoramic photo of the Class of 2024, and a Class of 2024 yard sign. All payments are made directly to Herff Jones. If you would like to upgrade your graduation package, you can select from multiple other offerings. For a complete list of items available for purchase, please review the Herff Jones brochure. Please be aware that if you decide to purchase Class of 2024 spirit gear through Herff Jones, only items that comply with our school dress code are permitted to be worn during the school day.

Graduation Package orders can also be placed online. If you are unsure if a graduation package has already been purchased for your student, please email Emily Eltiste at [email protected].

Seniors are invited to submit a quote and signature to be included in the yearbook along with their senior portrait. Senior signatures and quotes are due Friday, November 17.

The Yearbook Staff will be hosting three Senior Signature collection events during lunch on November 6-8.

Senior Quotes can be submitted via this Google form.

Our next Senior Lunch is on Friday, November 17. Join us for a delicious assortment of soups and grilled cheese sandwiches as we celebrate the many things we have to be thankful for.

Seniors who RSVP by Wednesday, November 15, will be entered into the raffle for gift cards and non-uniform dress passes!

The Class of 2024 is invited to Grad Nite at Disney California Adventure on Tuesday, May 28, from 6:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.! Attendees will enjoy a private party after park closing including special entertainment and access to most rides and attractions.

Tickets are available now on the CLHS Activities & Events GoFan page.

Transportation to and from Disneyland will be provided. Students will NOT be allowed to drive themselves. NO EXCEPTIONS. Specific Grad Nite details and behavior expectations will be communicated to all ticket holders prior to the event.

Please note: Due to this event and our Graduation Service occurring during the traditionally scheduled final exam week, a special seniors-only final exam plan is currently being worked out and will be communicated soon.

There are only a few weeks left to take your Senior Portrait! Portraits must be completed by Thursday, December 14, to be included in the Yearbook. South Coast Photographic is our school’s official senior portrait photographer and your image must be taken by them to be published in the yearbook. Visit their website to schedule an appointment ASAP.

MANDATORY DRESS CODE:

• Females: Blouse or sweater (with appropriate neckline). No tops that are low cut, strapless, halter, or spaghetti straps.
• Males: Shirt and tie with optional jacket. Hair must be appropriate length.
