Dear Seniors, and families,

Seniors, please read very carefully the instructions for attending the prom.

* PAYMENTS: Starting tomorrow you may pay for the prom in the SGO store. Online payments will begin midday tomorrow. Early bird payments begin tomorrow until March 28th. Regular payments start April 1st and end April 23rd.

* PRICING includes a sit down dinner, photobooths, favors & dancing/DJ from 7pm to Midnight. Doors close by 9PM to enter for prom.

* GUESTS: You may bring one guest. The pricing below is per person.* If you bring a guest from another school, they MUST complete Mr. Newman's requirement of the student approval form attached below. Your guest MUST complete BOTH a permission slip and the guest approval form if they do not go to Tech. If they attend our school the approval form is not needed, but a permission slip is. * Even if you are age 18, the DOE rules regulate that a parent must still give approval for people still enrolled in school and parents/guardians must sign the permission slips. No person over age 20 can attend the prom.

*PERMISSION SLIPS need to be notarized. All Permission slips are due by April 30th. All non-tech students (guests) must attach a copy of their school ID. If your guest is a non-tech student and working (not in high school) or may already be in college, they do not need to fill out the school approval form, however, dependent on their age, they do need a permission slip and MUST have a photocopy of the ID. (college ID, License, etc.)

PLEASE FILL OUT YOUR PERMISSION SLIPS NEAT AND CLEAR. If I cannot read your name, Osis # or email information may mean you do not get the needed info for the prom.

* PROM RENAISSANCE COURT: Information will come out in a few weeks for people who would like to nominate themselves. There will be different categories and prizes.

For Your Review

The word Renaissance is a French word that means "rebirth".

It refers to a period in European history from the 14th to 17th centuries when there was a revival of classical art, literature, philosophy, and learning.

The Renaissance was a time of cultural, artistic, political, and economic rebirth after the Middle Ages.
