Meet the ClassE Crew!

Meet Ella and Kaylee

Ella Conyers is a senior at Mattoon High School. Her interests include sports, basketball, shopping, and working out. Her favorite subject in school is math and she is involved in multiple school clubs, including the National Honor Society, Key Club, and B.I.O.N.I.C. Ella’s short-term goal is to finish High School with Summa Cum Laude honors and to play basketball in college. Ella’s long-term goals include graduating college, getting a job in sports/business, and potentially becoming a basketball coach.

Kaylee Croft is a junior at Mattoon High School. She is currently employed at Sarah Bush Lincoln as a room service associate. In her free time, she enjoys listening to Harry Styles and Metallica, reading romance novels, and watching the latest South Park episode. Kaylee enjoys learning about math as well as textiles and design. For now, Kaylee is putting her efforts into graduating high school and keeping a high academic record to get accepted into a college of her choice!

A recent grant awarded to ClassE will help facilitate the purchase of needed maker space equipment, allowing students to afford higher-quality marketing, tools, and supplies for their class businesses. A similar grant from Consolidated in early 2022 allowed students to purchase a heat press, cricket machine, and more. These have been used by numerous ClassE students since.
