THE FUTURE OF GRIZZLIES

& WOLVES IN MONTANA

Join us October 18th at the Emerson Theatre to discuss the future of grizzly bears and wolves in Montana. This conversation will feature Dr. Doug Smith and Dr. Chris Servheen, two of America’s leading wildlife experts, and will be moderated by renowned environmental journalist Todd Wilkinson.

More Details:

Grizzly bear and wolf recovery are among the greatest conservation success stories. As Montana prepares to assume management of grizzly bears, it’s vital to assess the state’s preparedness and the lessons we’ve learned from their history of wolf management.

This is a rare opportunity to hear directly from experts who have been on the frontlines of these recovery efforts for decades. They’ll explore the past, present, and future of these iconic species, highlighting the challenges and opportunities in front of us.

This event is hosted by the Montana Wildlife Federation, National Parks Conservation Association, the Cinnabar Foundation, and the Gallatin Wildlife Association.

There is a Season

Madison Perrins

These paintings created by Madison Perrins were guided by an appreciation for the singular energy each season of life can bring to the outer and inner landscape. The artist uses her understanding that each season contains its own unique lesson to try and enjoy the gift of them in real time: the mercurial quality of spring, the whisper of solitude in fall, or the bright shock of summer. Her work lifts up a deeply personal spirituality held in the landscape, especially inspired by the sweeping expanses of the Western US & her beloved Montana. In turns, her imagery embodies joy, playfulness, power, the sacred, interiority, and radiant energy.
