The latest release provides significant performance and scalability improvements giving Sitecore customers a translation solution that is truly enterprise-ready. Sending content for translation is a resource intensive function for the Sitecore server; by off-loading these functions from the server, the Clay Tablet Connector easily supports the export of tens of thousands of items without delay, and allows localization into dozens of target languages. “We’ve gained tremendous experience with dozens of global clients,” remarked Kelly. “And this new version reflects all that knowledge in a ground-up rebuild to create a solution that’s truly meeting the needs of the largest, most demanding global enterprises.
