The facility will be home to several county departments including the Board of Commissioners, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Communications and the grant-funded District 3 pocket park. | | Update: Curbs and gutters are currently being installed around the site. Installation of the waterlines is scheduled to begin at the end of July. Planning, Design, and Construction is also developing a procurement package to solicit bids for the construction of the new facility as part of Phase II. Funding to construct the District 2 Pocket Park is twofold. The 2021 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) monies have been used to design the park while a Federal Grant obtained by Clayton County will pay for the building of the new park.

The park will include a picnic shelter, restroom, greenspace, gardens, fitness area, covered seating, walking trails, and a staging area for Clayton County Fire & Emergency Services mobile medical clinic. Additionally, the park will feature an inclusive playground that will allow children of all abilities to play.
Funding to construct the District 3 Pocket Park is twofold. The 2021 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) monies have been used to design the park while a Federal Grant obtained by Clayton County will pay for the building of the new park.

The park will include a picnic shelter, restroom, sidewalks, playground and lawn area for play as well as a staging area for a Clayton County Fire & Emergency Services mobile medical clinic.
Funding to construct the District 4 Pocket Park is twofold. The 2021 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) monies have been used to design the park while a Federal Grant obtained by Clayton County will pay for the building of the new park.
