We’ve handpicked fleets from across the country that are realizing the performance, financial, and environmental benefits of renewable diesel, biodiesel, and blends. Some of these fleets have tips and tricks for managing fuels in colder climates, others are experiencing better DPF performance, and all are reducing emissions with drop-in renewable fuels requiring no added infrastructure.

10:00 AM - Introduction by Tammie Bostick, Executive Director, Utah Clean Cities Coalition

Tammie Bostick, Executive Director, Utah Clean Cities Coalition

Tammie Bostick leads Utah Clean Cities (UCC) as executive director with a passion for clean fuels, clean air and clean strategies. In 2019, Tammie was elected as Vice President of Transportation Energy Partners (TEP), a collaborative group with the Clean Cities Coalition Network where she focuses on federal policy and Clean Cities advocacy. Tammie also currently serves as the Northwest Clean Cities Regional Council member serving her regional state Clean Cities Coalitions in Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming, Oregon, Washington and Hawaii.

10:10 AM – Amy Regimbal, Operations & Policy/Fuel Analyst at Oregon Department of Transportation

Amy has worked for the Oregon Dept. of Transportation (ODOT) for 15 years in the Fleet division. She is responsible for the 93 bulk fuel tanks across the state as well as expanding the electric car charging network. She researches and implements viable fuels that make sense for the agency as well as the environment. She is especially proud of introducing renewable diesel to the fleet as well as increasing biodiesel use. Proud member of and volunteer for the Columbia-Willamette Clean Cities Coalition and an active member of NAFA.

10:25 AM – Gary Lentsch, CAFM, Fleet Services, Eugene Water & Electric Board

Gary Lentsch has spent over 35 years working in fleet operations for various utilities in the Pacific Northwest. For the last 10 years, he has been the Fleet Manager for EWEB, where his fleet operations have been continually recognized as one of the leading fleets in the nation. His knowledge of fleet operations and fleet sustainability has led him to speak at various venues across the county. Gary is presently part of NAFA's Certification Committee and sits on the board for the Columbia-Willamette Clean Cities Coalition.

10:40 AM – Keith Shields, Director of Fleet Services, City of Knoxville

Keith oversees the Light Vehicle Shop, Heavy Vehicle Shop and the Vehicle Impoundment facility. He has a team of 54 deployed at the 3 locations and a budget of over $8.5M. Keith has been employed by the City of Knoxville for 6 years. Keith’s hometown is Columbia, TN and he received his Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a major in Transportation/Logistics. A member of the Army ROTC program at UT he was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the Transportation Corps upon graduation.
