CLEAN ENERGY FOR THE FUTURE

MACH2 CHOSEN TO RECEIVE UP TO $750M

The United States Department of Energy announced last week that the Mid-Atlantic Clean Hydrogen Hub (MACH2) was selected for award negotiations to receive up to $750 million in funding from the Hydrogen Hubs program to support the development of a clean hydrogen hub–a network of hydrogen producers, consumers, and local connective infrastructure–in Delaware, Southeastern Pennsylvania and South Jersey. MACH2 was ranked among the most pro-labor and greenest hubs in the nation. All projects will be constructed with project labor agreements and all clean hydrogen production will come from renewable energy, nuclear energy, and capturing wastewater emissions (no fossil fuel extraction). It was chosen as one of seven regional clean hydrogen hubs nationally. Read the full announcement >

“This is a big deal. Hydrogen is a clean fuel of the future, one of the ways we can pollute less. Our region has been chosen for a federal infusion of hundreds of millions of dollars that will create thousands of jobs and show how hydrogen can be made, transported and used in a real-world way.”

can also lower the cost of care. While

we look to the future of what could be, it’s always a good time to look at

what options exist for employers

today." Read more >

DIVERSE SUPPLIER SPOTLIGHT: OSPREY HEALTH

For years, providing a barebone

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

When I look at our team here at the State Chamber, we employ people whose ages span five different decades. With many Boomers delaying retirement, Gen Xers in top management roles, Millennials starting to enter their mid-career, and Gen Z entering and becoming established in the workforce, there are now four generations working side-by-side, each with vastly different priorities, preferred means of communication, and habits. An episode of our podcast addressed this topic earlier this year, featuring Navient's Michael Smith and StratFi's Jim Lee.
