Do GOOD in our communities
“I continue to go to work every day in healthcare. We are wearing full gear so when I get home, I appreciate being outside in nature. I started a Facebook story time with my grandkids, and cooking and baking is a great stress reliever.” -- Sheryl, shop customer
“I’ve been spending a lot of time in my garden plot at Twiggs Park in Evanston. I’m also volunteering with Inspire thru Flowers, an organization that donates small bouquets to healthcare workers. Recently we delivered bouquets to Amita Health St. Francis and various Glenbrook hospitals." -- Joan, shop volunteer
Shop volunteer Christy is a wellness coach who has been working with truck drivers nationwide to teach them how live a healthier life while on the road. She’s also an avid nature lover and has been spending as much time as possible outdoors.
YWCA Shop for Good Reviews
If you’ve had a great experience with us, please leave a review on Yelp or Google . Here's what our shoppers are saying:

“What a wonderful gem this little shop is! The store is very clean and organized, stocked with amazing designer pieces and much larger than it looks from the outside. I found out that this place is mostly run by volunteers and that all proceeds go to a domestic violence program. I can’t wait to come back and see what other treasures I can find.”

-- Maggie, shop customer
“My absolute favorite resale shop on the Northshore! The clothing is all in amazing shape and they have a nice selection of designer merchandise for good prices. Plus the staff can’t be beat. They are super friendly and helpful.”

-- Erin, shop customer

“One of the first places I plan to go when the stay at home is lifted!”

-- Maribeth, shop customer
