Letter from CCIA
Ten years. Has it really been that long!?

Indeed, CCIA was founded late in 2008 by business leaders, industry visionaries, universities and economic development officials. Their efforts defined CCIA's mission and set a course for our work these past ten years.

We've welcomed thousands of people to hundreds of programs. We've watched investments climb, fall and climb again and, together, we've made Colorado's cleantech voice heard across the country.

Cleantech jobs are at an all-time high in the state and we're looking forward to working closely with partners across Colorado to continue this momentum. Our policy efforts have garnered millions in support for early stage cleantech companies. We've helped push progressive transportation, storage and investment legislation to cement Colorado as a cleantech policy leader.

So what's next? Thanks to input from our State Plan Update we're going to be busier than ever! We're working on big ideas like the SOAR innovation fund, a national storytelling campaign and new programs. Our legislative activities continue to increase and we're already looking towards a busy 2019 session at the capitol.

It's an exciting time for cleantech and we look forward to the next 10 years!
Sincerely,

Shelly Curtiss
