Every child's potential is a reality.
|
|
To make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
|
To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community and place of worship;
To raise the standards of home life;
To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth;
To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth;
To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and spiritual education.

Welcome back to school, Wildcats! Wait? Did I really just say that? It is hard to believe that our teams and groups are already back on campus practicing and getting ready for our first football game, which means that summer is pretty much over. Your PTSA has been hard at work these past few weeks preparing for back to school, too. We are embracing the digital world and are expanding our social media presence, as well as now offering the option to join PTSA online and order spirit wear online.
If you would rather turn in your membership or purchase the new spirit wear shirts and hoodies in person, be sure to stop by the PTSA table during Schedule Preview, New Student Orientation, and/or Fish Camp this next week.... Or stop by just to say hi and chat with us! I know with all of the back to school activities and things to do, it can be tough to find time to relax, but I hope that you do take some time to enjoy the next couple of weeks and we will see you all soon!
Go Creek!

PTSA VOLUNTEERS
Help is needed with spirit shirt sales the week of August 10 am to 12 pm from 8 to 12 during schedule pick-up. And from 10 am to 7 pm on August 13th (Fish Camp and Late Pickup)
We have some super cute new t-shirt, hoodie, and long sleeve designs. Be the first to see them. Older PTSA designs are also on sale. In addition to direct sales at our registration table, new this year will be an online purchase option for credit card orders and online membership sign-up!
Remember this is your PTSA! We can't do it without your help.
Contact Beth Cox at
bcox23@comcast.net to schedule your time. If you have an hour, two or four, we can use you to man a table during schedule pickup sales.
Student members cannot handle cash, but can help with the registration process and on-line orders. These volunteer hours count for various service requirements. Sign up today!
STUDENT VOLUNTEERS
Incoming 9th to 11th graders. There are still opportunities to join the Bay Area Assisteens. This fun group meets once a month and helps out throughout the Bay Area Community. From making fleece blankets for Project Snuggle, helping out with Operation School Bell and clothing over 2500 students, working PTA Carnivals, helping out the League City Animal Shelter and everything in between this group is a great way to give back to your community (and get service hours for your various organizations).
ADULT VOLUNTEERS
Are you looking for a fun way to volunteer? Do you want to help the newest (and coolest) organization on campus?
Do you own a boat???? Then the Clear Creek Fishing Club needs YOU! Boat captains (over the age of 21 years) are needed to assist with fishing tournaments throughout the school year - both freshwater and saltwater. Contact
Crystal Keill for more information and to help out!
