Visit Clearfield County is accepting applications for its 2027 Clearfield County Tourism Grant and Sponsorships.
Visit Clearfield County is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the 2027 Clearfield County Tourism Promotional Grant and Sponsorship programs. Applications will be accepted from October 9 through November 9, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
In accordance with state guidelines, a portion of Clearfield County's hotel tax revenues is allocated annually to support the county's tourism assets. Awards are granted based on merit to qualified applicants, as determined by the CCRTA Board of Directors.
The Tourism Promotion Grant and Sponsorship are intended to support small businesses and organizations that contribute directly to Clearfield County's visitor economy. The program prioritizes projects that demonstrate a clear connection between tourism promotion and:
● Out-of-area visitation
● Overnight stays
● Visitor spending
● Increased exposure for Clearfield County
● Improved visitor experiences
● Stronger digital representation of the destination
Eligible Applicants may include:
● Tourism businesses
● Attractions
● Lodging properties
● Restaurants and culinary tourism businesses
● Outdoor recreation businesses
● Cultural and heritage organizations
● Agritourism businesses
● Tour operators
● Tourism-focused nonprofits
● Event or festival organizations when the proposed project demonstrates a meaningful tourism purpose
All applicants must submit applications online at Grants & Funding | Visit Clearfield County. Paper applications are not accepted. The deadline to submit is November 9, 2026. Applicants will be notified on January 13, 2027, regarding award decisions.
Please note: Grant funding is not guaranteed on an annual basis. Organizations should not rely on these awards as a recurring part of their annual budget.
